Located south of nearby Martinsburg, is the town of Inwood, WV. Perhaps best known locally for being the home to Knouse Foods Musselman plant which opened in 1920, Inwood is a growing community both residential and commercially speaking.
A well-known school system originated in 1949 when the C.H. Musselman Company donated the land and labor as a gift to the community. The high school first opened for the 1949-50 school year and has been going strong ever since.
Since the initiation of the school system, the town of Inwood has seen increases in residential development and substantial commercial growth mainly near the Interstate 81 exit.
